OUR MISSION
The primary objective of the Christian Writers Association is to unite sound Biblical writers in equipping readers, listeners, and viewers to build up the Body of Christ and assist in empowering men, women, children, and families to have a greater impact on the communities they serve. This is accomplished by providing Christ-centered, Bible-based content that advances the Gospel of Yeshua/Jesus Christ - in the writer and reader. Writers will be encouraged to use writing skills, podcasts, and video productions - both in the mediums of fiction and non-fiction.
FROM THE FOUNDER
Greetings, my name is Dr. Stephen Phinney. I am the founder of IOM America, the IM Worldview Institute, the IM Online School, and the Substack End Times Chronicles author. My objective is to unite solid, well-balanced Christian writers. We aim to create a community of writers who share a common faith and passion for writing that advances the Life of Yeshua/Jesus Christ.
We believe that by coming together, we can inspire and encourage one another to create works that honor God and Yeshua/Jesus Christ through content inspired by the Holy Spirit - while spreading His message of love, hope, and the indwelling Life of Christ. We envision a world where Christian writers are empowered to use their writing gifts to make a lasting impression and impact a troubled world, those seeking answers and hope.
I, personally, have been working on this plan for well over ten years. We have launched the mission. We invite you to join us. Whether you are a seasoned writer or just starting out, we believe your voice matters and your words can change lives.

Writer Application Requirements for Truthstream's Christian Writers Association.

1. Clear Agreement With Our Doctrinal Statement

Applicants must fully affirm the core doctrines of the ministry, including:

The authority, inerrancy, and sufficiency of Scripture (ESV preferred for citations).

The centrality of Yeshua’s indwelling Life as the foundation of Christian living.

Salvation by grace through faith alone.
-
The Trinity, the deity of Yeshua, and the work of the Holy Spirit.

A biblical worldview consistent with historic Christian orthodoxy.

2. Commitment to Indwelling Life Theology

Writers must demonstrate a clear understanding of the exchanged life message.

Content must reflect Christ-as-Life, not self‑effort or performance‑based Christianity.

Personal writing should show evidence of living from Yeshua’s indwelling presence.

3. Personal Testimony of Faith

Applicants must provide a concise testimony describing:

Their salvation experience.
-
Their walk with Yeshua.
-
How the indwelling Life shapes their ministry and writing.

4. Writing Sample Aligned With Our Tone

A 500–800 word sample reflecting:

Pastoral warmth.
-
Biblical accuracy.
-
Doctrinal consistency with Truthstream.

Clear, elegant communication.

5. Agreement With Ministry Ethics

Commitment to honesty, humility, and integrity in all writing.

No plagiarism or AI‑generated doctrinal manipulation. Agreeing that AI can be used as an editorial tool.

Respectful engagement with readers and other contributors.

6. Lifestyle Consistent With Biblical Standards

Applicants must demonstrate:

A life of repentance and obedience to Scripture.

Active involvement in a local church.

A reputation of moral integrity.

7. Verification of Identity

To protect the ministry from trolls, bots, and impersonation:

A recent photo.

Full name and physical address.

Links to active social media accounts.

Optional pastoral reference from their local church.

8. Willingness to Submit to Editorial Oversight

Writers must welcome:

Doctrinal review.

Editorial refinement.

Accountability for theological accuracy.

9. Agreement to Use Yeshua’s Name
​

We prefer that, for the most part, references to Jesus by His Hebrew name, Yeshua, consistent with our ministry preference.
