ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Building and equipping members of the Body of Christ to complete the work of service through the indwelling life of Jesus Christ. Since Worldview is formed through personal identity, Dr. Phinney's objective is to serve the hurting through providing practical and proven materials & media to further equip each participant in embracing the life-transforming message of the Exchanged Life—" Not I but Christ." He focuses on the root cause of cultural and interpersonal problems—spiritual, psychological, and cultural identity. By using the Bible and over 40 years of experience, his grace-oriented & systematic solutions to worldview problems are refreshing and comforting – thus his coined term Transformational Biblical Worldview™ development.
Stephen has been married for over 40 years to Jane, and they have three grown children, Abigail (married to Quintin Eason), Elizabeth (married to Nathan Ford), Jessica (in waiting), and ten grandchildren. Stephen and Jane dedicate their focus to the institution of marriage, family, and child development. Their focus is on providing ministry tools needed to raise the "next generation" with an actual Transformational Biblical Worldview™ – in an anti-family society. Both are active supporters of the multi-generational faith principles stated in Deuteronomy chapter 6 – God's simple command to Moses to teach the Word of God diligently to the children, as well as generations to come.
Christ, Culture, and Creator. Dr. Phinney has focused his studies, research, and writings on International Leadership & Cross-cultural Biblical Worldview, within the arena of global impact. He is proactive in serving ministry leaders, and interested Christians - with the mission of establishing a "Christ-as-Life" modality of growing in Christ. While his primary vision is directed toward leaders, he is compelled to implore the Body of Christ to live and walk in their identity in Jesus Christ. Thus, his vision in promoting the IM Online School & the Identity Matters Worldview Institute.
